Queen’s Blade Cattleya – Swim Wear ver. by Daiki – NSFW
NOTE: This post contains content that is NSFW.
For those of you waiting for Cattleya to cast off her bikini top, wait no more, Daiki has released there Cattleya swim wear version figure with a removable bikini top. This is the first figure to not come with a base, so this will need to be purchased separately.
Sculpting is excellent overall and the curves have been smoothed a little when compared to the e2046 version, and to enable the top to be cast off Cattleya’s right arm position has been changed and needs to be removed along with the head to remove the bikini top. Due to the cast offability there is now a rather large seam across the shoulder area.
Painting overall is pretty good except for a few gaps by the tie down areas of the bikini bottom; extra effort went into the shading of this figure which does help add more detail. Too bad the fit and finish is not as good, there is a noticeable gap where the hair attaches to the head and at the right arm attachment point. The bikini top is rough around some of the edges as well, not that it matters since this Cattleya will be cast off for displaying.

Cattleya’s face has a nice pleasant expression, and her hair is nicely done up in a ponytail. I did not bother with adding the provided glasses since I liked the face just the way it is.

The bikini is just big enough to cover up the essentials and has some stress features sculpted into the top which is obviously under severe weight stress. Even with the top on you can see the breasts peeking out from all sides of the bikini.

No way around it Cattleya’s breasts are HUGE and to me look perfectly fine. If you don’t like figures with large breasts, then this one is not for you.

Some comparison shots with the e2046 version.
Pros:
Nice pose
Cast offable
Extra effort put into painting
Cons:
No base
Fit and finish could be better
Conclusion:
I really like this figure, I just wish Daiki was more consistent with the quality of there products. As of this posting this figure is still available for purchase, also there is a white version available for pre order.
